The ISO-9001 and 14001-certified Scandia company has existed for almost 40 years and produces a leading concept brand in workwear and personal safety equipment aimed exclusively at the maritime and offshore industries.

All products are distributed directly from our stock to a broad range of shipowners and shipping companies, without intervention by third parties.

Vertical integration of all phases – from the spinning of the yarn all the way through to deliveries on board – creates a strong foundation that sets us apart from the competition.

Production and inspection for working conditions and environmental matters is mostly done in joint-venture agreements under our own QC.

Tests are conducted on fabrics before cutting and on products before shipment by renowned independent institutes like SGS and Centexbel and are certified by Germanischer Lloyd or DNV in compliance with current EN-Norms and SOLAS Regulations (IMO).

Products are furnished with the customer’s logo as a means of supporting corporate identity and global signature. All printing and embroidery is carried out in the company’s own workshop at the head office in Spijkenisse, which is part of Rotterdam harbour in the Netherlands.

Since the start of 2011, we are operating from our newly-built head office in Spijkenisse. This new location has 3,200 square metres for our corporate offices, which include production and testing facilities.

In addition to this, we have expanded our warehouse operations by 500 percent to a storage capacity of 4,000 pallets, and moved warehousing and logistics to the same site as our corporate offices.
