How to wash
your Scandia Coveralls

WHAT is the BEST way to look
after your favourite SCANDIA Coveralls?

Cotton is the natural fabric we use most in our workwear (e.g., coveralls). It is breathable, durable, and hypoallergenic, providing you with superior absorbency and comfort. Please follow the care instructions detailed inside each item and note these general rules to extend the useful life of workwear made of cotton:

[1] close all zippers and Velcro fastenings before machine washing

[2] Remove epaulets and name/rank strips

[3] do not dry clean unless indicated

[4] excessive machine washing and drying can damage garments and cause them to shrink; ensure that items are washed and dried at the correct temperature and spin intensity to preserve their wearability and protective capacity

To save water and energy, we strongly advise against washing items individually. Clothing in washers and dryers that are only partly filled is exposed to increased friction, leading to fibre loss, abrasion, and deterioration. Your Scandia coveralls and workwear can be washed at temperatures up to 60 degrees, however we recommend washing apparel at temperatures no warmer than 40 degrees. For an environmentally-friendly, energy-saving alternative, try cold-washing your apparel.
