Logistics Administrator

40 hours per week

 

Location: Spijkenisse

 

Temporary from January till May 2018 to cover maternity- and parental leave.

Job description:

Reporting to the Team Leader, Logistics, you are responsible for the administrative activities associated with Scandia’s logistics chain. 

 

This includes:

  • Completing administrative work required to prepare orders for shipping
  • Determining and processing transport costs (e.g., for consignments)
  • Updating customers on the status of their deliveries
  • Preparing required documents (e.g., T1, Proforma, and Delivery Note) for shipments
  • Ensuring prompt delivery of required paperwork to Warehouse staff and Drivers
  • T1 administration, including the clearing of goods not shipped under T1
  • Scheduling the transport of inbound and outbound containers

 

Quality:

  • Reporting problems within their own field of work to the Team Leader, Logistics and enacting preventive and corrective measures
  • Complying with policies, procedures, and instructions as stipulated in the HQSE system

 

Job requirements:

  • MBO work and skill level
  • Flexible and motivated
  • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Team player with attention to detail, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience
